Our Founding Story
Lighthouse Technical Training was founded in 2025 by Daniel and Sacha Matherly in response to a clear need in the industrial sector: employers needed high-quality, job-specific technical training but lacked access to instructors with real operational experience and proven instructional expertise.

Daniel brings 25 years of nuclear operations experience as an INPO Certified Nuclear Instructor and Adjunct Professor of Chemical Engineering. Sacha contributes her skills as an accomplished graphic artist and marketer. Together, they combine technical depth with engaging presentation to create training programs that build fundamental understanding rather than rote memorization.

The name "Lighthouse" reflects their guiding principle: just as a lighthouse guides ships safely through challenging waters, LTT guides students through the journey from novice to competent operator. Today, Lighthouse Technical Training brings systematic, experience-driven instruction to any technical industry where competency matters and training excellence makes the difference.
